Used Golf Carts - Do I Really Need New?

If you are not a golfer then you probably are not going to give much thought to golf carts. If on the other hand you are just starting in the sport, it will not take long before you give these carts some serious thought and you will soon be on the hunt for used golf carts fro sale. Once you have determined the need for one your next decision is going to be do you want a gas golf cart or are you more interested in looking at some electric golf carts? They both have their good and bad points.

Once you weigh up the differences it will come down to a matter of choice; whats available and whats the price like. A gas powered golf cart means just that you are going to use gas to fuel it. More often than not, people are now straying away from the gas-powered carts because of the pollution that gas causes and of course, the extremely high cost of gas even on a low level such as this. For this reason they are often very cheap.

Electric golf carts are more environmentally friendly, quieter and cheaper to run. If you have not driven a golf cart before then you probably will not have much of a preference between the electric and gas so make sure you try both types out before you buy. One thing you may want to do though is practice driving a bit before you get out onto a busy golf course. Fender benders happen there too on occasion.
